Gatehouse Barns is a Camping and Caravanning Club certified and open to Members only. Not a member? That’s fine we can sign you in on site.

We are a laid back site providing pitches for up to 5 vans and have a separate area for tents. We like to keep it small and relaxed.  Each pitch has hook up and water.

The whole site overlooks the Abberton Reservoir and the sunsets are really spectacular. We can also see the River Blackwater in the distance across the site, especially at high tide.

We have set up a fire pit that is open to all campers to use. You can either bring your own wood to burn or buy it from us. We ask that you don’t go and chop down our trees. Any sticks on the floor are fine to add.

We are happy for our campers to have BBQs or fire pits as long as they don’t sit straight on the grass.
